On December 18, 2017, the Ensemble performed a charity concert at the symphonic hall of the ADDA in Alicante to raise funds for granting scholarships to talented students and to build a rehearsal and chamber concert hall at our headquarters in Alicante. The Academy Symphonic Brass is a large group that covers both the repertoire of the English Brass Band and the international classical repertoire, and it was created in 2012.
It is composed of trumpets, piccolos, flugelhorns, French horns, euphoniums, tubas, and percussion.
In the years 2013 and 2014, the group offered successful concerts directed by Uwe Köller, a trumpeter from the renowned German Brass, as part of the Febrero Musical de Cox Festival.
The group also performed under the direction of Rudi Korp. It has also participated in the Summer Brass Festival Alicante.
Currently, it is under the direction of José García Gutiérrez.
